LabStats: Connecting to a Campus Computer off Campus

Question: 

  • How do I connect to a computer on campus using LabStats remote access tool?

Steps: 

  1. Go to https://remoteaccess.labstats.com/north-hennepin-community-college.
  2. If you’re on a Mac or Chromebook download the Microsoft Remote Desktop app from the Apple’s App store or Google’s Play store.
  3. On the remote access site click the connect button to download the RDP file.

  4. An instructional window with a download button will open. Click the Download button to download the file and follow the instructions to connect to the machine.

  5. You will use your StarID and password to login to the machine.
