Question:
My external monitor display is mirroring my laptop, my mouse is not going left to right, or my icons are the wrong display
Answer:
Follow these steps to fix your display settings
Steps:
- To fix your screen mirror issue, click on the Windows + P button on your keyboard and select Extend
- To fix your mouse not going to left to right on your screen, right click on your desktop and select Display Settings
- Select Detect to show an identification number on each display. Move the monitors around in the settings window to match the physical location of your displays.
- Select the Monitor (so it’s highlighted) that you want to make your main display where your desktop icons will be located and the first display that will open your applications and select Make Primary.
