RightFax General Information
 

What is RightFax?
  • RightFax Web is the program with which you manage your faxes. You might also have access to other users' faxes if you have delegate permission.It can be use with a variety of attachment types and destination options.

The left pane shows the available folders that contain faxes. The right pane shows the list of faxes within the selected folder.

Flags show the action taken on each fax, and status indicators show the current status of the fax. The system will sign you out after 15 minutes of inactivity or the time.

Sending a new fax:

  1. In your fax mailbox, click the folder in which to create the fax, and then click New. The New Fax page opens.
  2. Enter the information for sending the fax. For instructions, see example of long distance fax below.

  3. Click Send.
       Note:- In the Destination box, enter 9 in front of the fax number. For long distance fax,enter 91 and follow by area code and phone number. Do not add “1” if you are dialing 1-800 number. Otherwise, you will be making 911 call.

To view the fax:

  • l In the fax list, select one or more faxes. On the View menu, click Image. The Viewer page opens.
  • l To rotate the page, on the Page menu, click Rotate, and then click Clockwise, Counterclockwise, Flip, All Pages Clockwise, All Pages Counterclockwise, or Flip All Pages.
  • l To view thumbnail images of each page of the fax, on the Page menu, click Show/Hide Thumbnails.
    l To view a different page of the fax, on the Page menu, click Previous, Next, First, or Last. Click Go to Page to specify the
    page number.

To Save or Print Confirmation Receipt:

  • Open the fax or click a fax in the fax list.
    On the View menu, click Confirmation Page.
    To download the page, in the Download list, select the PDF format. The file is downloaded, and you can print the confirmation page as needed.
  • Click Ok.

Printing faxes:

  • In the fax list, select the fax or faxes.
  • On the Fax menu, click Download, and select the file format to download.
  • After the file is downloaded, open the file and print it using software on the local computer.

Deleting faxes:

  • On the Fax menu, click Delete.
  • Click Ok to confirm the deletion.
    Deleted faxes are deleted immediately or moved to the Trash folder. If you use the Trash folder for deleted faxes, you can specify that it be
    emptied. If you decide to recover deleted fax then follow steps below.
    • Go to Trash folder and select Fax
    • On the Fax menu and select "Move to folder..."
    • Select Main
