Question: 

  • I would like to install NVDA Screen Reader on my NHCC computer. How do I do that?

Steps: 

NVDA Screen Reader is available on all NHCC employee computers as optional software to install. Please follow the steps below to install it on your computer. 

  • Click on the Start Button or Search for Software Center in your list of Applications and then click on it to open it up.

  • In the Applications tab, look for NVDA Screen Reader and click on it.The full application name is called NonVisual Desktop Access.

  • Click on the blue Install Button

  • Once successfully installed, the blue Install button will turn into a Gray button that say Uninstall

  • Click on the Start Button on your computer and search for NVDA to find the application installed on your computer.

NOTE: NVDA IS NOT AVAILABLE ON MAC COMPUTERS.
