Question: 

  • I am a newly or currently enrolled student, staff, or faculty that needs help with D2L. Are there any guides that I can follow?

Answer: 

  • The Minnesota State system office offers a Knowledge Base for D2L Brightspace users, including students, faculty, trainers, campus site admins, and other technical support staff.  The Minnesota State Learning Technologies Team provides a variety of Knowledge Articles, including: commonly asked questions, how-to processes, and best practices within D2L Brightspace.  The Knowledge Base is searchable within SharePoint, providing users with on-demand resources available any time of day.

  • To view the D2L Knowledge base website, you must have an active STAR ID account and password.

  • Students, please log in with STARID@go.minnstate.edu and STAR ID password. Employees, please log in with your STARID@minnstate.edu account and STAR ID password.
