Question: What is the eduroam wireless network and how do I connect to it?

Per the eduroam web site:

"eduroam (education roaming) is the secure, world-wide roaming access service developed for the international research and education community.  eduroam allows students, researchers and staff from participating institutions to obtain Internet connectivity across campus and when visiting other participating institutions by simply opening their laptop."

North Hennepin Community College uses eduroam as its primary Wi-Fi network.  If you are a student, faculty or staff member, you should use eduroam to connect to network resources. 

Personally Owned Devices

Personally Owned Devices should connect using the Knowledge Base article that pertains to the device you're using. 

Campus devices

All university owned Microsoft Windows systems should connect to eduroam automatically through use of digital certificates.  All other personally owned devices will connect to eduroam using login credentials, username: StarID@go.minnstate.edu or StarID@Minnstate.edu and StarID password.
